Green Marine is delighted to announce that it has presented a model of the Volvo Ocean Race VO65 to the prestigious Model Room of the Royal Thames Yacht Club in London.

In a tradition that dates back to profiling yachts from as early as 1834, the Farr VO65 joins more than two hundred and fifty other yachts on the walls of the famous Model Room, flying the flag for both the Volvo Ocean Race one design and Green Marine as the build consortium leader for the 2014/15 race.

Richard Acland CEO of Green Marine said: "It is an honour to present a model to the Royal Thames Yacht Club, their model room is famous globally as being a faithful representation and celebration of the greatest sailing yachts ever to have graced the seas, and we are very proud the another Green Marine design upon these hallowed walls."

VO65 joins previous Green Marine built yachts Ran II and Juno, who are already represented at the RTYC.
